Kong is taken to New York City and presented to a Broadway theatre audience as "King Kong, the Eighth Wonder of the World!" When the flash photography sends King Kong into a rage, he breaks loose and terrorizes New York City. Capturing Ann Darrow (Fay Wray), Kong heads up to the top of the Empire State Building where biplanes begin to fire on him.
