The Evil hanged around the circuit in 1978. The horror film had a bit of a baby boom around the grindhouse circuit at this point, and before Poltergeist was concieved, there was The Evil. Still, no one profited from this movie, except maybe director Gus Trikonis, who ended up directing the majority of the Baywatch episodes.
