An original television preview from December 1984 for the follow-up film to director Stanley Kubrick's 1968 masterpiece. The sequel - written, directed, produced, and photographed by Peter Hyams - featured a cast lead by Roy Scheider, John Lithgow, Helen Mirren, and Bob Balaban, with original cast members Keir Dullea (as Dave Bowman) and Douglas Rain (the voice of HAL 9000) reprising their original parts.
