Back home from Russia, people begin to note a slurring of his diction...which worsens. And they begin to notice that the things Rocky says are "dumber." Rocky suffered brain damage from his bout with the murderous Drago. To make matters even worse, Rocky is left broke by mismanagement of his fortune. Despite his desire to get into the ring, Rocky mist retire and find a means of supporting his wife, Adrian (Talia Shire), and their son, Rocky Jr. (Sage Stallone). Economics force the family back to the seedy Phila- delphia neighborhood they thought they had left forever. But Rocky has new hope for a promising young boxer-Tommy Gunn (Tommy Morrison).
