After a mysterious accident involving a submarine, fears rise that Godzilla has returned! Thanks to a dedicated journalist, it is soon discovered that Godzilla lives once again, but this time embodied by the angry souls of those lost in the second World War. Humanity's only hope lies in three "Guardian Monsters" who will challenge Godzilla. Baragon, Mothra, and King Ghidorah will heed the call, but will their combined strengths be enough to stop Godzilla? The design for Godzilla was quite different from anything that had been done before. With massive feet, enlarged fangs, and a pair of shocking all-white eyes, Godzilla looks terrifying. The supporting monsters also received a makeover with the most noticeable one being a smaller King Ghidorah. The four monster designs would never be used again, but have remained popular ones.
