A powerful voice for clean water, Emily spends countless hours educating the public on the dangers of PFAS and other toxins in our drinking water. As a resident of Wilmington, Emily is one of many who live down river (Cape Fear River) from the Chemours factory in Fayetteville, NC. As a result, she and her community have faced abhorrent levels of water contamination from PFAS. The ongoing contamination in her area, and her husband’s cancer, inspired her to found Clean Cape Fear.
